Selingan Island is the most famous nesting areas for sea turtles such as the Green turtle and Hawksbill turtle. As part of the Turtle Island Heritage Protected Area (TIHPA) and a designated National Park, many active sea turtle conservation program can be viewed or joined in the area.

When you arrive in Sandakan, transportation is readily available through e-hailing services. You can go to either Crystal Quest Jetty or Selingan Turtle Island Jetty, managed by Sabah Park. It's essential to make bookings in advance.
