how to go there ? 

  • From Kota Kinabalu, get a bus near Padang Merdeka to Kudat Town.
    Bus : Salam Bumibas Bus
    Time: 3 hours
  • Charter a boat from Jessleton Point to Pulau Tiga.

    Take a boat from Padang Merdeka, Kota Kinabalu, which usually takes people to Kuala Penyu. Then ask around the Menumbok buses or Kuala Penyu buses and they will take you to Kuala Penyu. From there you can walk from Sabah park jetty.
  • SELF DRIVE
    Rent a car from Kota Kinabalu and  drive to Kuala Penyu town. Park your car at Sabah Parks office and take a boat from jetty to Pulau Tiga Park which you also need to book in advance.

PROPOSED ITINEARY 

  • Day 1

    • Depart Kota Kinabalu at 8.30 a.m.
    • Stop over at Kuala Penyu at 10.30 a.m.
    • Take away lunch at Pulau Tiga
    • Free and easy and relax
    • Optional day walk and hikes in the forest and night walk

  • Day 2

    • Free and easy and relax

  • Day 3

    • After breakfast
    • *OPTIONAL* -Depending on the weather
    • Go to the Snake Island and then back to Kuala Penyu
    • Back to Kota Kinabalu
