MERINTAMAN BEACHÂ
Merintaman Beach is a more natural alternative to the more developed and crowded waterfront of Sipitang town. Interesting rock formations are found at the cape of Merintaman Beach where there are also shallow caves where visitors can wander into. The nice stretch of beach forest along this coast makes it a good place to spot a variety of coastal birds. Being at the west coast of Sabah, Merintaman Beach also provides visitors with a splendid sunset view in the evening. No accomodation is available here as this spot is more suitable just as a daytrip activity.

MERINTAMAN hILLSÂ
Tampalagus Hill stands at 280 meters a.s.l. northwest from Sipitang town. From the peak, you can get an excellent view of the Brunei Bay. Pitcher plants can also be spotted to the keen eyes. The road up the hill is paved so it is also accessible by cars.
