MALUDAM NATIONAL PARK
It is a beautiful peat swamp park. Its also home to the rarest primate on Borneo, the Borneo Banded Langur.
how to go there
- Rent a car from the airport and self-drive to Maludam National Park which is 2.5 hours from Kuching. It can also can be accessed from Sibu which take around 3 hours and 30 minutes.
- You can hire a boatman (Mr Hj Kiflee) for 3 plus hours boat ride. The cost is RM250. The boat ride is a very scenic ride and you can see Proboscis Monkey, Long Tailed Macaque, Silvered Langur, Black Hornbill, Oriental Pied Hornbill and the very rare Borneo Banded Langur which only can be found here.
