LUPA MASA / BORNEO HERPETOLOGY CAMP
Lupa Masa is a mixture of lowland and submontane forest. This place is hidden on the lower slopes of Mount Kinabalu National Park, and is 30 mins walk from Poring Hot Springs. To get there, take a Bus or taxi from KK to Ranau and then change to Poring. This place is 2.5 hours to 3 hours depending on traffic from Kota Kinabalu (KK) .

Rent a car from Kota Kinabalu and drive to Poring. Contact the owner, Mr Jonis to book your room and meals. Upon arrival at Poring Village, a brisk 25-minute jungle trek will lead you to the lodge.
Get a bus from Bandaran KK and find the bus to Ranau. Once you arrive in Ranau, you will get another bus to Poring. For your return journey, kindly arrange with the proprietor either for transportation back to Ranau or to secure a booked transport service.
