kubah national park
- The 2,230 hectares of mixed dipterocarp forest that make up Kubah National Park are abundant in pitcher plants, orchids, and palms. Mount Serapi, which is 911 meters high and serves as the breathtaking backdrop for sunsets across the Kuching Waterfront, dominates the park. At Kubah, there are isolated patches of kerangas, or heath forest, and small areas of scrub forest interspersed with dipterocarp forest. Kubah National Park is a nice day trip location that is only 20 kilometers from Kuching. The park headquarters also offers a variety of lodging options. The park features an amazing rainforest with a wide variety of ferns and orchids. With 93 different types of palms found in the park, it is also well-known for its great diversity. After a jungle hike, the park's waterfalls and streams are excellent spots to relax and cool off.
