Hi friends! A few years ago, I remember seeing my friend Joremy post a video of hundreds of flying foxes soaring over the Temburong Bridge. Recently, I’ve had the chance to witness it myself — truly an amazing sight!

The only catch? You can’t stop on the bridge to enjoy the view. But guess what? I found the perfect alternative!

Today, I stopped by the new D'Patoi Café at Bukit Patoi Park, and while sipping on a teh tarik, I was treated to the spectacular sight of hundreds of flying foxes flying overhead! Absolutely magical. I highly recommend heading there between 5:45–6:45 PM — perfect timing to catch the action. Don’t miss out, as these beauties are migratory and may not stay long.

I’m thinking of going again this Thursday after work — anyone keen to join?

Oh, and to top it off, I even spotted proboscis monkeys from the parking lot and heard the distinct call of a horned frog. What a day!
