BATU LAWI
Batu Lawi is a twin-peaked mountain in the Kelabit Highlands of Sarawak. It plays an important role in ancient mythology as well as modern history. Legends of the Kelabit people believe that the mountain peaks are husband and wife protecting the highland people. The taller peak is the ‘male’ peak reaching to 2046 meters above sea level while the ‘female’ summit reaches 1850 meters.
how to go there

Take a flight (MasWings DHC-6 Twin Otter turboprop) from Miri to Ba’kelalan or Bario.
From Ba’Kelalan or Bario you will have to travel through logging roads to Batu Lawi with a 4WD car. As you reach there, you will need to trek through forest for four days.
