The journey started from Kapuas Jetty Terminal in Pontianak, then uses speedboat for 5 hours to Sukadana.
Then from Sukadana use Indonesian Motorbike Taxi for 30 minutes.
Hike for 2 hours to reach campsite at Lubuk Baji.
Visitors must obtain research permits to access Gunung Palung National Park.
Gunung Palung National Park only allows researchers that have permit to enter. Meanwhile Lubuk Baji which is a part of Gunung Palung National Park area is open for the public to visit. This guidelines is to go to Lubuk Baji camp which is also intresting for wildlife.
