bako national park
This park was famous with the formation of rock called "Cobra Head Sea Stack". But sadly has fallen on March 2024 due to strong weather. Somehow Bako still has a lot to offer; Bako is rich with wildlife such as proboscis monkey, flying lemurs, long-tailed macaque and this is one of the place you can see bearded pig in Borneo. If you stay overnight, you will have more to see.
how to go there
- Rent a car and drive or take a bus from Electra Building or wait at the opposite side of Riverside Majestic Hotel.
- Then go to Bako Market (ticket purchase can be done at the registration counter), then go to Bako National Park by boat.
- You can book or walk in for boat trip, we would recommend booking to avoid full bookings
- Boat Bako Terminal open daily from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. (+60 82- 439 631)
- There are available place to stay but always book prior your stay.(+6082374869)
